Personal training with Zach is unlike training with any other fitness coach. Zach believes that your fitness routine should be enjoyable, and if you don't like working out, he'll make sure that you at least enjoy your sessions together! Zach develops individually tailored workouts, maximizing the benefit of the entire time spent together, as well as helping your body to maximize its metabolic effect as a result of each training session. Zach has over 9 years of experience designing programs, training clients from all ages, experience levels, and with injuries of all types. Zach has his Bachelor's of Science in Health Ecology, with certifications as an ACSM certified Exercise Physiologist, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, and TRX Suspersion Trainer.  Head over if you'd like to know more about Zach and his background.

What does Personal Training with Zach entail?

 

Personal training with Zach consists of 55 minute one-on-one fitness sessions that are tailored to fit an individual based upon exercise history, injuries, skill level, and personal goals. Each one hour session includes a 5 minute warm-up, 45 minute tailored workout where Zach instructs you on proper form and technique in order to prevent injury and maximize benefits, and a 5 minute cool-down.

 

Personal training programs also entail structured meal plans and monthly goal-setting calendars. The meal plan you receive is designed to fit your specific nutritional needs while ensuring you attain the required amounts of vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals, along with macronutrients (Carbohydrates, Fats, Proteins, Water). The meal plan is a whole-food based plan to allow your body to function with nature and enhance overall health and well-being.

The monthly goal-setting calendars are your main tools for fitness success. Every month new, realistic, attainable goals are established, and to achieve those goals Zach designs each monthly workout plan for you as a guide. Zach lays out what your workout will look like for each day to help you eliminate the guess-work and let you have a structured and fun workout. 

 

Personal training is very helpful for individuals that have upcoming events in which you need to reach a goal, individuals who have injuries and are at risk for further injury without proper exercise instruction, those who are new to exercise and fitness and need instruction to prevent injury and build a proper foundation for their continued success, or individuals who need the motivation and guidance to reach their health and fitness goals.

Can I train with a partner?

 

Absolutely!!! Partner training is a wonderful option for friends, couples, and groups looking to have that added support of training with another individual. Similar to personal training, partner training consists of 55 minute sessions that are tailored to fit a couple, 2 people, based upon exercise history, injuries, skill level, and personal goals. Each session includes a 5 minute warm-up, 45 minute tailored workout where Zach instructs you on proper form and technique in order to prevent injury and maximize benefits, and a 5 minute cool-down. As with personal training, partner training also entails a structured meal plan for each individual, and monthly goal-setting calendars.

 

Partner training is helpful for couples who wish to exercise together or may be self-conscious to exercise alone. It is also benficial for individuals and couples that have upcoming events in which you need to reach a goal, individuals who have injuries and are at risk for injury without proper exercise instruction, those who are new to exercise and fitness and need instruction to prevent injury and build a proper foundation for their continued success, or individuals who need a little motivation and guidance to reach their health goals, while also having the added support of a partner.

"Before Zach I had a trainer for 6 months. While I was gaining tone slowly, I didn't see a change in my body and my weight had stayed the same. Zach asked me what my goals were and I honestly didn't believe I had any other than not feeling so gross. At the time I felt like being a perfectly fit woman was an unachievable goal for a mother of three in her thirties.

 

I kept telling him I didn't care what the numbers said, I just wanted my clothes to fit better and I wanted to be toned.
